Twitter just rolled out two fresh “photo enhancing” features that ramp up your social friendships. Now, with the newly introduced photo tagging, you can tag people in your photos. The other welcome ability is that you can also include up to four photos in a tweet. Go ahead and update your Twitter iPhone and Android apps to have a go.

Thanks to Facebook, tagging photos is known to be a communication driver and to help social interconnectedness. The feature comes late to Twitter, as it speeds up its improvements around photo sharing. A new “Who’s in this photo?” button is displayed in the tweet compose screen as soon as you use a picture. You can tag up to 10 people in a photo and there is no effect on your word count. A notification will go out to the tagged parties. If you rather not be tagged in other tweets, dive into your account settings and adjust notifications, as well as who can tag you.

You can attach multiple images to a tweet – a maximum of four at a time. You can create and send a collage of four photos and your followers can scroll through them like a slideshow. The feature rolls out first on the iPhone, but it will arrive soon on Android and Twitter.com. However, if you’re on an iPhone, Android or Twitter.com, you can view the tweets with multiple photos.

Embedded tweets will also support photo tagging and multiple photos.
